About Lauren

Lauren Deckelbaum is a business psychology consultant dedicated to improving wellbeing at work.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University with a major concentration in psychology and two minor concentrations in management and behavioural science. She holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics in organisational psychology. She is completing a doctoral degree from the Université de Montréal in clinical psychology, with a focus on workplace burnout and adult mental health.

With a deep understanding of the psychological dynamics that drive individual and team performance, Lauren works closely with companies to create environments where employees reach their true potential, leading to tangible improvements in business outcomes.

Lauren’s approach is rooted in the (evidence-based) belief that healthy minds (i.e., mentally healthy people) are the cornerstone of successful business. Leveraging decades of research in psychology and behavioural science, Lauren helps companies foster cultures of resilience, engagement, and growth. Her work not only boosts employee satisfaction and retention but also directly contributes to the bottom line.

Lauren has partnered with organizations across the globe and across industries to design and implement tailored mental health and wellbeing programs. From custom team workshops, to programmed retreats, to HR surveys, to leadership counselling, Lauren provides empirically supported strategies that empower people to “leave the workplace better than they found it.”

Through her work, Lauren is helping companies realize that investing in employee well-being is not only a moral imperative but also a strategic advantage.
